The Laveen Elementary School District is located in the southwest portion of Phoenix, nestled between the South Mountain Range and the Estrella Mountains in a growing rural, agricultural community with five kindergarten through eighth grade elementary schools and one traditional school. We invite you to visit our campuses and to share in the experience of educating our students, your children.

Our Web site is designed to provide you with the information necessary to make your child's time in the Laveen school district a high quality learning experience. Take some time to browse through our Web site and see what we have to offer our students, employees, and our community. We’ve provided you with information about our schools, local attractions, hundreds of links to other useful Web resources, enrollment requirements, and employment opportunities.

If you have questions for which you don't find answers, we invite you to contact us at the district office, or contact your child's school directly.

Dear Community and Friends:

We appreciate your visit to Laveen Elementary School District. We are here to serve your needs. If you are new to the area, or are considering a move for your family, I’m sure you will have questions about the quality of instruction we provide, our curriculum, and our extracurricular activities. As our district’s Superintendent, I can assure you that our district is dedicated to quality education in a safe environment for each of our students. We are proud of our quality staff, involved parents and community, and energetic and enthusiastic students.

Here at Laveen, we believe it is crucial to build strong community ties to the school system so we encourage parents to come and visit, mentor, and enjoy the learning environment provided to our students daily. Our schools take great pride in creating success for our students and staff as well as establishing schools that are a source of pride and achievement.

Thank you for visiting and enjoy your stay!

Sincerely,

Ronald A. Dickson, Ph.D.
Superintendent
